Kingston's own festival favourite Martha Tilston heads a Kingston Green Fair benefit evening that promises to be sensational. It will be the first contemporary music concert at Kingston's prestigious theatre.

Martha and her incredible band the Woods have recently released a new album called Of Milkmaids and Architects and they have also issued a free album called Ropeswing available from the internet. "She has probably the purest voice I have heard and at times it sent shivers up and down my spine" said Lee Allen of the BBC.

The date of the concert is Sunday, August 31 2008 and tickets are available from the Rose Theatre.
